ORDERS + SHIPPING
How long will it take to receive my order?
Shipping typically takes 1–3 business days.
If you selected local delivery, we deliver on Fridays unless otherwise noted.
For pickup orders, we’ll send you a confirmation when your order is ready — please wait for that message before heading our way!
Do you offer local pickup in Atlanta?
Yes! At checkout, choose from shipping, local delivery, or free porch pickup. Delivery is available within a specific radius for an added fee, and porch pickup is offered on select days at no charge.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We ship with USPS.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, we’ll send a tracking number straight to your inbox.
I purchased treats during a pre-order, when will I get them?
If you participated in a special pre-order, please check your email for pickup instructions. We do not currently offer delivery or shipping, so upon ordering, you will select a pickup date and time and will receive an address. ​
TREATS + INGREDIENTS
What is the shelf life of the homemade PVO treats?
If you've purchased homemade PVO treats, it is important to know they are made with zero persevatives. That means they won't keep for quite as long as traditional store-bought treats. The good news is, your dogs will love them so much that they won't last long!

Shelf life is determined by the amount of moisture in the treat -— the more moisture, the shorter the shelf life. All our treats should keep for about 2 weeks. Storing them in an airtight container helps to keep your new treats fresh. Storing the softer treats, like brownies and pupcakes, in the fridge, helps maintain their softness and keeps the moisture in.
How should I store my treats?
Store all treats in an airtight container or cookie tin. Brownies and pupcakes should be refrigerated for best results.​ Please follow all storage instructions on the package.
What makes PVO homemade treats different?
All of our treats are made in small batches, by hand. We source only the best dog- friendly ingredients and keep up with the latest research to ensure your dog is not only getting the best quality ingredients but also the safest — without the use of preservatives, salts, or sugars.​

Are your treats safe for all breeds and sizes?
​Yes! Our treats are suitable for all dogs, but it's always best to check with your vet before introducing new ingredients into your pup’s diet.
Where are your treats made?
Right here in Atlanta! We bake in small batches using natural, human-grade ingredients. Each product includes a full ingredient list both on the label and in the description online.
Do you offer grain-free or allergy-friendly treats?
Yes! Check the product description for details. If you're having trouble finding the right fit, send us a message — we’re happy to help. Please note: we can only offer substitutions using pre-approved recipes registered with the Department of Agriculture.
Are your ingredients human-grade?
They sure are — and yes, we’ve taste-tested them ourselves! Our treats are safe for human consumption, but they’re made with no added preservatives, salt, or sugar to keep your pups feeling their best.

How do I clean the slow feeders, bowls, or gear?

Do you carry anything for cats?
Yes! We have a small (but growing!) selection of cat-friendly goodies available in-store.
Where are your products sourced or made?
All of our PVO-made treats are crafted locally in Atlanta. For other items, sourcing details are listed in each product description. While we prioritize U.S.-made products, some international vendors offer even higher standards in pet product safety.
Are your products eco-friendly or sustainably made?
Products marked as eco-friendly or sustainable meet our standards for low-impact, pet-safe production.
RETURNS + EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 15 days of purchase for unused, unopened items in their original condition. Reach out to start the return process.
Can I return or exchange treats or grooming products?
We offer a Freshness Guarantee on our treats. If you're not satisfied, let us know within 2 weeks of the bake -- this date will be noted on your treat bag/box as the 'Use by' date. Treats must be stored properly and returned with original packaging.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email us at pvopetcollective@gmail.com, and we’ll be in touch to coordinate the return or exchange. Make sure to include the email address you used to place your order and your order number.
STORE + EVENTS
Where are you located?
Our retail store is opening this year in the Edgewood neighborhood of Atlanta! Until then, you can shop our online store.
Do you host local events?
Yes! We love bringing the community together through adoption events, seasonal meetups, and more. Follow us on Instagram or check our website for updates.
Can I preorder for pickup during an event?
Absolutely. We offer holiday and event preorders for pickup only. Keep an eye out for announcements!

Can I bring my dog to the store?
Yes, please do! We can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend.
Do you sell dogs or work with breeders?
Never. We do not sell live animals. We proudly support rescue organizations and believe in “Adopt, Don’t Shop.” PVO is founded and run by rescue dog parents.
